Houston RCMP made an arrest in Topley on Sunday evening after a “careless use of firearms”
Police received the initial assault complaint around 10 AM. Upon arriving, Police learned there were firearms on the property.
RCMP could not comment on whether shots were fired, but the North District Emergency response team was called in because of the firearms.
There were no injuries reported.
The suspect was arrested without incident. They were scheduled to appear in Provincial court Monday.
