A handful of customers in Telkwa and Burns Lake are still without power after winds knocked out much of the power to the region last night.
BC Hydro’s Bob Gammer says over 6,000 people were without power in the middle of the night between Hazelton and Burns Lake but most residences were restored by early morning.
He says most of the outages were due to trees falling on power lines.
