There will soon be at least one more reason to head down to Bovill Square this spring.
Council agreed to let “Caravan” food truck sell its “locally-sourced” comfort food in the empty lot beside the Square.
As the weather gets nicer, Mayor Taylor Bachrach’s hopes this makes the area an attraction.
“More people are going to be having their lunch outside and we can see, in coming months, more and more people gravitating towards Bovill Square,” he says, “Maybe we’ll get some live music at lunch time, it’s all part of trying to make that a real central gathering place for our community.
The truck will set up as soon as staff makes minor improvements, like levelling the gravel.
