The Houston Chamber of Commerce is assigning areas for this year’s Pitch-In Week.
So far, eleven groups and all the local schools are participating in the national event.
Chamber General Manager Maureen Czirfusz says it looks great when the District is clean for spring.
“It just really shows the community pride and the spirit that comes through and how people are proud of houston. It’s just a great way to bring everyone together,” she says.
If you’d like to help clean the community, you can call the Chamber at (250)845-7640 to be assigned an area.
There are over 6000 groups “pitching in” this year, including ones in Smithers, Burns Lake, New Hazelton, and Granisle.
Pitch-In week runs until Saturday, April 23rd.
