The Smithers Trade expo will be starting off Friday, May 6.
The Director of the Smithers Chamber of Commerce Heather Gallagher says over 2500 people come out each year.
“I think anytime you bring an event into town it helps the local economy. Restaurants are busy. There’s 70 exhibitors – I mean, that’s a big impact on our community,” says Gallagher.
The Trade Expo is on Saturday from 10 a.m. -6 p.m.
