The man who brokered the last teacher’s contract says meditation is not necessary.
As the BC Teacher’s Federation and the provincial government work to find an advocate, Dr. Charles Jago says they should be able to find a deal on their own.
Jago says the two parties should make every effort to get to a deal.
Jago says he hasn’t been approached to help mediate talks between the teachers and the government.
He doesn’t anticipate being called upon, since the issues being discussed this round are vastly different from when he was in on contract talks.
