This summer, The Community Police Office and RCMP in Smithers will be issuing ’positive tickets. ’
It’s to reward good deeds in the community says Matt Davey the Prevention and Community Safety Officer.
“It’s an opportunity to catch the good guys for a change. And to create a bit of in-roads between the community and the RCMP,” says Davey.
The tickets will come with coupons for free items at local businesses.
