For improvements to health care in Northern BC, specifically for children, Northern Health and Child Health Consultations will be making their rounds in the Bulkley Valley.
Johnathon Dyck, Public Relations with Northern Health, says they’ve been holding public consultations in the north for six years.
“some successful outcomes from this include the Northern Cancer Control Strategy. More cancer care closer to home through both through community chemotherapy clinics and the new Cancer Centre in Prince George,” says Dyck.
The public is invited to bring their issues and concerns to the meetings. Consultations will start in Burns Lake May 19th and will also be in Hazelton May 31st.
