It will cost just over $27,000 for Houston to continue collecting corrugated cardboard

To offer a pick-up service for residential cardboard recycling, it would cost the District of Houston just over 27 thousand dollars in a six-month period.

They’re considering the changes after the Regional District of Bulkley and Nechako will stop collecting corrugated cardboard for the landfill.

If Houston decides to not implement the collection of recycling, then they’re only expense will be 168 dollars to distribute flyers detailing the Regional change set for July 1st.

Houston council will be meeting tonight at 7.
