Telkwa will be looking at how to improve trails at a public meeting tonight focused on the mobility of elderly in the community.
Liliana Dragowska, a contractor for the Village on the project says it will give them an idea on how to allocate some grant dollars.
“What are potential improvements from an accessibility perspective. what ar the difficulties for people that are ageing, women with strollers…things like that.”
An estimate shows 7 per cent of Telkwa’s population are considered senior citizens.
The meeting will be at 630 tonight at the Telkwa reading centre.
