Time to vote for medical mascot

Northern Health is onto stage two of their new mascot contest.

Northern Health’s Jonathon Dyck says they received fourteen entries in total of various northern animals and symbols and have selected a couple to choose from.

“We are now down to two entries that the public can vote on. So that includes ‘Rex’ who is a blue bear and a ruler of well-being…and ‘Spirit’ an adventurous caribou who enjoys excising, eating well and making the right choices for his body.”

Dyck says the mascot will help Northern Health promote healthy living across the region to a younger audience.
