The Regional District of Bulkley -Nechako will be holding a public Community to community forum in Smithers next month.
It will include all First Nations and Municipal governments in the region.
Chair of the district Bill Miller says it’s to hash out a plan for a transportation system on Highway 16 following the provincial offer.
“How we can put a plan together that works best for our communities; both First Nations and local Government. The other one is a spill response, also a provincial paper that’s come forward – we’re hoping to talk about those things,” says Miller.
Last week the province announced it will be spending 5 million dollars on the highway 16 action plan.
The RDBN has invited communities to the forum on July 7th.
