This weekend is the Midsummer Music Festival in Smithers.
Coordinator, Greg Vinnish says the music line up kicks off this evening and will run late into the night with a full day on Saturday and Sunday as well.
“You get a whole different energy down there. Everyone is really happy and friendly. There are great food and craft vendors. We have a great kid’s area…so bring the kids down and the whole family. If you haven’t tried it out it is going to be a good year for music.”
Headliners include Alex Cuba, Isobel Trigger, The Pack A.D. and Blades of Steel.
Vinnish says camping is available on site at the Bulkley Valley Fairgrounds.
Nearly 2,000 people are expected to attend the event.
