Parents asked to make children's reading a summer priority

As students settle into the summer, Sylvan Learning Centre has some tips to keep their minds sharp.

Studies have shown children can lose two and a half months of what they learned in school during the summer.

Centre Director Darcia Allen says there are some things you can do to help your child’s learning.

Allen says kids should read between 15-20 minutes a day during the summer.
