Tom and Cathy Stanton are the first gold sponsors of the 5th Annual Bulkley Valley and Hospital Foundation’s Fundraising Gala
They’re both long-time volunteers that will be sponsoring the Gala in October
Executive Director Laura Menzel says the Gala helps raise money that gets dispersed across the Bulkley Valley Health Care and Hospital Foundation.
“A portion of what’s raised goes toward a big project that we have,” explains Menzel. Projects like the Bulkley Lodge Project, where some upgrades to the residential and long -term care facility in Smithers will be announced at the Gala.
Menzel says volunteers like Cathy and Tom make a massive difference.
“Cathy used to be a director, they both volunteer – you know – they just show up, that’s what they do.”
