Alex Cuba says Parliament on the Hill was beyond expectations

Grammy award winning Alex Cuba says his trip to Ottawa for the Parliament on the Hill Canada Day Celebration was beyond his expectations.

With his performance on the main stage, he translated lyrics from some of his songs into the Wet’suwet’in language.

Cuba, based in Smithers, was the only musician from BC performing at the largest Canada Day celebration in the country.
