The Smithers community has already shown their support to make sure Fire Chief Keith Stecko has a rainbow mohawk by August.
Over $1300 was raised in just a few hours today for a Go Fund Me fundraiser that will help pay medical bills for Volunteer Firefighter Cash Harris’s 4-year-old son’s battle with a terrible digestive disease and protein intolerance.
“For a small community, it has a huge heart. I’ve seen time and time again where this community has banded together to help people that may be struggling whatever the issue may be,’ says Stecko.
Stecko says if the Go Fund Me Page hits the 10 thousand dollar mark before August, He’ll be sporting a rainbow mohawk.
