Spectra Energy is the next sponsor for the Bulkley Valley Health Care and Hospital Foundation’s October Gala.
They’ve contributed 25 thousand dollars to the event over two years as a title sponsor.
“A portion of this year’s proceeds will be going towards a project involving the Bulkley Lodge,” says Executive Director Laurel Menzel. “I can’t say too much while details are still being hashed out, but chances are that your time in the Bulkley Valley, you will either make use of the Bulkley Lodge or love someone that does. It’s going to be a valuable community project.”
She says the Gala has raised 10s of thousands of dollars in its previous four years – raising money for health initiatives across the Bulkley Valley.
Spectra Energy is one of many sponsors chipping in to help fund the event.
240 people are expected to attend the Gala.
