Mob Bounce looks to engage youth through spiritual and healing workshops

The Hip Hop duo Mob Bounce are planing on holding youth workshops around the Bulkley Valley with a focus on inspiration and healing.

Member of the group Travis Hebert hopes to build up the younger generation rather than allowing them to fall into victimization.

“Through experience and with a lot of kids I’ve worked with and met, they’re not excited about too much. So a lack of excitement is a lack of passion. and that lack of passion has a lot to do with a lack of self worth and self esteem,” says Hebert. “In rural communities where there’s less privilege, less money, and a lot of things stacked up against them; you gotta dig deep.”

He says it’s about connecting youth from all cultures and backgrounds allowing them into Mob Bounce’s world of indigenous and spiritual culture. They hope to use their music as a positive influence, and inspire kids to reach for their full potential.
