Highway 16 near Fraser Lake is down to a single lane because of a fatal crash.
A commercial vehicle and a pick-up collided two kms east of town at around 8:30 this morning.
A 31 year old man was pronounced deceased at the scene while his female passenger escaped with minor injuries.
The road was closed in both directions for a couple of hours but is now open to single lane alternating traffic.
So far no time of re-opening both lanes has been released.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
Cause of the crash is under investigation at this time.
