A slight increase has been made to BC Hydro rates.
It goes up three percent, marking the third increase in as many years.
In 2016, the rate jump four percent, followed by a 3.5% increase last year.
The provincial NDP government had attempted to freeze the rate ahead of the increase, meaning the uptick would be held off for another year, but it was refused by the BC Utilities Commission.
