Smithers preparedness for kindergarten.

For some, the school year may be winding down but for others, it is only just beginning.

Smithers continues to prepare residents for the upcoming fall semester, more specifically kindergarten.

The Bulkley Valley Christian school held Ready, Set, Learn this morning from 9 am – 11 am, with the hopes of answering questions or concerns for the kids as well as moms.

Children were introduced into the classroom setting and got their first taste of the educational system.

Those who will take part in the upcoming 2018 kindergarten semester can also make their way to the Kindergarten Health Fair on May 2nd – 4th.

The Smithers Public Health Unit will focus on a healthy start for youngsters as they begin their schooling experience.
