There is a special air quality warning out for Burns Lake and Houston.
The release was put into effect when the Ministry of Environment recorded high levels of dust contamination in the air.
The provincial air quality objective aims for 50 Micrograms Per Cubic Meter (MPCM) over 24 hrs.
Burns Lake recorded levels of 63 MPCM while Houston doubled the regulatory limit at 106.4 MPCM.
Children, the elderly, and those with chronic health issues are asked to stay indoors until dust levels subside.
