What is May 2nd, 2018 you may ask? Well, it’s McHappy Day silly.
One dollar of every hot beverage, Big Mac, and Happy Meal sold will go towards one of the many Ronald McDonald Charities.
Guests can also support families through a $1Â McHappy Day donation button that will appear on all self-order kiosks in restaurants.
Feeling lazy but want to support? McHappy Day menu items can be purchased through Uber Eats.
Since the program’s inception in 1977, McHappy Day has raised over $66 million dollars to support over 1,800 communities in Canada. There are 15 Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada that care for 26,000 families each year as children are treated in hospital.
The Moose Radio Crew will be at McDonald’s in Smithers today supporting the cause, so don’t be scared to say hello.
