After hearing the 4-storey hotel proposal today, The Town Advisory Planning Commission will recommend it to Council.
The Bryton Group’s hotel will need to change a few things from their 83-room hotel proposal, such as parking spaces and traffic control. The APC also asks they consider ways to make it 3-storeys.
A major concern is how a 4-storey building will affect the Town’s view scape, one that councillor Brown says will not be taken lightly.
it’s a very serious issue. Those folks, if you’re impacted by your view scape and it’s taken away, it would definitely make you mad.”
This proposal will be presented at the next Council meeting.
There are also plans for public presentation and input sessions in the future.
