Houston Council will revisit the District water restrictions in a meeting on Friday.
The restrictions have been in effect for weeks, limiting District members from using water for anything other than “domestic requirements.”
Until then, the restrictions are still in effect. Residents East of Buck Creek may only water their lawns and gardens on even calendar days between 6 – 10 AM and 7 – 10 PM.
Anyone West of the river can use water at the same times on odd calendar days.
The restriction was put in place to ensure enough water for emergencies, but may be subject to change with the recent rain and cooler temperatures.
