The advice is changing regarding just how much time toddlers and preschoolers should spend in front of the screen.
Based on changing technology, the Canadian Paediatric Society has dropped its previous recommendation to limit two-to-five-year-olds to one hour of screen time a day.
The group now says parents should prioritize what their kids are watching to ensure it’s educational, interactive, and age-appropriate.
They are still recommending that kids younger than two-years-old be kept from the screen, except to video-chat with others, such as grandparents.
