Tattersall charged in PG Bank Robbery

31-year-old Jonathan Beaver Tattersall of Smithers has been arrested following the an Armed Robbery in Prince George on Tuesday, August 11th.

In a statement released by Prince George RCMP:

“On the afternoon of Tuesday August 11th, 2015, the Prince George RCMP responded to a hold-up alarm at the TD Bank on O’Grady Road in Prince George. A male entered the business wearing a mask and produced what appeared to be a hand gun. He demanded money and fled the scene on foot. Later in the afternoon, TATTERSALL was located and arrested in a wooded area off O’Grady Road. An airsoft pistol, vehicle and other evidence was seized. TATTERSALL has had no history with police.”

Tattersall has now been charged by Provincial Crown Counsel for the following Criminal Code offences:

· Robbery with an Imitation Weapon

· Uttering Threats (2 counts)

· Commit an Indictable Offence while Masked

· Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace (2 counts)

Tattersall will remain in custody until his next court appearance on August 19th, 2015.
