Houston girls selected to play for Team BC’s U14 ringette programs

Four ringette players and a coach from Houston have made the cut for Team BC.

Avery Niven, Cassidy Stumpf and Lauryn Slaney were selected to the province’s U14 Red Team.

In addition, Kari-Lee Niven was named to the Red coaching staff while Hailey Labbe was named as an alternate player for the U14 BC blue squad.

These athletes are a part of Ringette BC’s U14 Train to Excel Program.

The players will participate together at two upcoming tournaments, ending with the Western Canadian Ringette Championships.

Prince George plays host to the Provincial Zones Ringette Tournament from March 1st to 3rd from the Kin Centres and Elkscentre arenas.
