The Bulkley Valley Farmers’ Market will be holding a special “Harvest Day” this weekend.
The Market was given grant money from the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako to hold an event that would bring consumers and producers together.
Market Director Kimberley Mulla says Harvest Day is a great way to pick up essentials for Thanksgiving.
“This is a great time for people to pick up turkeys, chickens, meat, picking up some extra eggs maybe for entertain or baking and there’s still lots of excellent veggies at the market that are great for a special Thanksgiving dinner,” she says.
Harvest Day will be held at the Curling Club this Saturday from 9-12.
This is the second week that the market has been held indoors.
