The Bulkley Valley Pool had their annual general meeting earlier this week to review financial progress and where they are headed.
Staff were pleased to report that the 2014 budget was balanced and the number of memberships increased.
Facility Manager Tamara Gillis said staff is also looking ahead to future projects.
“Upgrading some of our items in the mechanical room to make sure things are operating smoothly, looking at upgrading our lighting system to LED to be more energy efficient, as well as our water system,” she says.
The pool will switch back to normal hours beginning as of Monday, with the exception reduced times on Saturday night.
