Foreign firefighters are coming in to assist the B-C Wildfire Service.
Crews from Australia and New Zealand will arrive on Friday and Sunday.
A crew of 20 from Nova Scotia is already on the ground, while two water bombers from Ontario are being stationed in Williams Lake.
The moves come as the Service expects fire activity to pick up sharply this week.
