Police are still receiving consistent calls about a phone scam and BC North District RCMP is again warning residents about fraudulent phone calls.
Police say fraudsters are calling victims and claiming to work for the Canadian Revenue Agency then demand money or financial information.
This scam has been going on for months, but the RCMP say residents are still being fooled and thousands of dollars are lost every day.
The RCMP reminds everyone to be smart. If you get a suspicious phone call, hang up, call the CRA, and ask if you do have outstanding fees.
