The Bulkley Valley and Lakes experienced its first snowfall of the year today, as soggy flakes littered the ground this morning.
While some of it stayed in the higher altitudes, most of it quickly vanished from the local communities.
Environment Canada meteorologist Matt McDonald says the rain and snow are promising a cold Halloween, but there’s a chance the weather could clear late Saturday evening.
“Saturday will start off quite unsettled with some showers in the morning, but there may just be an afternoon break right around trick-or-treating time at 4 – 5 PM,” he says, “it’ll be cloudy but perhaps a dry trick-or-treating this year.”
Make sure to keep warmly while out collecting candy!
