A new term at the College of New Caledonia gets underway tomorrow (Tuesday) as campuses prepare to welcome new and returning students through a broad range of orientation activities and events.
Fall orientation kicks off with a New Student Welcome, taking place all week.
“CNC’s Fall Orientation Week means the return of students, faculty and community at our campuses,” said Vice President of Student Affairs Shelley Carter-Rose.
“I’m grateful to all student volunteers and employees for giving more than 1,000 new students a memorable and positive introduction to CNC and making them feel prepared and excited for the academic year ahead.”
During the orientation, students will have the opportunity to explore the campuses, meet with staff and faculty, and connect with fellow students and the Student’s Union.
“New student orientation is more than just an introduction to campus life, it’s the foundation of your journey here at CNC. It’s a chance to build connections, discover resources, and set the tone for your entire academic experience,” said CNC Student’s Union (CNCSU) Executive Director Leila Abubakar-Depeneau.
“I encourage every student to embrace this opportunity, especially by participating in CNCSU Day on September 4th.
Additionally, students who complete CNC’s online orientation by September 16th will be entered to win a $500 tuition credit.
