Remembrance Day Ceremonies in the Bulkley Valley & Lakes

Residents throughout the Bulkley Valley and Lakes can honour Veterans at events throughout the area this Remembrance day.

Staff and students at Houston Secondary have invited Veterans to an assembly Tuesday to thank them and participate in the moment of silence.

Among them will be Russ Walton, who was a part of the British Columbia Dragoon in the 1960’s. He says it’s important to pay homage to those who have fallen.

“It reflects how we’re proud Canadians and we’re grateful for the people who laid down their lives to keep us free,” he says.
