Smithers RCMP are investigating into the removal and damaging of election campaign signs.
This comes just over a week before the BC Election on October 19th.
According to police, these signs were lawfully placed on both public and private property.
They add, “It is a criminal code offence should someone unlawfully remove or damage an election sign.”
