Just over one-million people across the province cast their ballot early for Saturday’s BC Election according to Elections BC.
Advanced voting wrapped up yesterday (Wednesday).
In the Bulkley Valley-Stikine riding, nearly 4,000 of the 14,400 registered voters or 27.5 per cent put their vote in early.
In Nechako Lakes, almost 5,400 of the 17,600 registered voters, or 30.5 per cent did the same.
Thursday, October 10th was the most popular day for advanced voters in the Bulkley Valley-Stikine riding with Tuesday (Oct.15th) seeing the most advanced voters in Nechako Lakes.
On Saturday, the polls will open across the province from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Free transit will be provided in Smithers.
