Smithers born Adam Kingsmill was named to the 2024 Canada Para Hockey Team for the 2024 Para Cup.
The 24-year-old goaltender was one of the 18 players selected to this year’s team after participating in their evaluation camp at the end of September.
This isn’t his first time playing with the team, having won gold at the 2024 World Para Hockey Championship and silver in the 2022 Winter Paralympics.
He was also the lone player to be selected from BC.
The tournament will be played December 8th to 14th in Charlottetown, P.E.I.
