Property sales in the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District are mostly up according to the BC Northern Real Estate Board.
As of December 31st, 160 properties were sold in Smithers worth a total of $82.2 million.
Thats is three more properties and about 1 ½ million more than the year before.
Of those sold, 82 were single family homes with another 60 properties available on the market.
In Houston, 61 properties were sold through 2024 totaling $16.4 million with another 38 properties still on the market.
66 properties changed hands in Burns Lake valuing $19.9 million compared to the 52 sold in 2023.
26 single family homes, 11 vacant properties, 24 acreage homes, and a manufactured home were included.
In the Hazeltons, there were 20 properties sold compared to 27 that were sold the prior year.
