The BC government will help Gitxsan Nation members and future LNG jobs with new training programs.
The $800,000 investment will train 168 members for jobs of the future, including camper services, basic security, and construction.
The investment is through the BC Aboriginal Skills Training Development Fund.
Education will be offered through the Northwest Community College and Gitxsan Development Corporation.
