According to Drive BC, Highway 16 is open to single lane alternating traffic.

Smithers RCMP closed Highway 16 west of Smithers today (Monday) just before 2:00 p.m. due to a motor vehicle incident at Manton Rd.
Smithers Fire is also on scene and the highway is expected to remain closed until about 3:00 p.m.
