Smithers RCMP responded to 92 calls between the 10th and 17th.
Police executed a search warrant on December 12th for an in-town home.
Upon entering, they found small quantities of crack cocaine, scales, and baggies believed to be used for trafficking.
A 33-year-old male and 30-year-old female were arrested on possession and trafficking offences.
The two do not face charges at this time.
On Wednesday, Police received a report of an attempted snowmobile theft on Yelich Road.
Suspects were scared off by the property owner. They fled in an older red pickup truck.
Residents are reminded to secure their off-road vehicles when they’re not in use.
On Thursday, Police responded to a vehicle-moose collision along the highway just after midnight.
A Pontiac Sunfire struck a moose head-on near the airport. The animal landed on the car’s roof.
The driver and the passenger were uninjured, however, the car had significant damages.
An officer dispatched the moose.
