Unique gifts aren’t too far away this holiday seasons.
Originally supposed to finish Saturday, he “One of a Kind: Artisan Craft Sale” will continue at the Smithers Art Gallery until Wednesday,
Manager Caroline Bastable says this is a win-win for everyone involved.
“It’s an opportunity for the public to be able to buy local people’s handmade work, it’s unique gifts, and it is absolutely beautiful stuff,” she says, “it also gives a nice opportunity for artisans to be able to sell their work outside of the craft fairs.”
Bastable says the sale has everything from baby clothes to wood sculptures to ornaments.
