The Ministry of Environment ended the air quality advisory for Smithers and Houston at 9 Tuesday morning.
Increased winds have swept away harmful particulate and bettered air quality.
The advisory lasted 26 hours, dating back to 7 AM Monday.
The Ministry says a reduction in wood burning will contribute to cleaner air in Bulkley Valley and Lakes.
