Telkwa will begin clearing it’s river banks of trees and brush in the next few weeks.
Holes caused by roots and burrowing animals weaken the dikes and can cause erosion.
Three target areas are along Bartlett, Riverside, and Cottonwood.
Council will discuss this at Monday’s meeting beginning at 7 PM.
