Northern Engineered Wood Products is starting back up in a few weeks
The plant in Smithers will again be a particle board manufacturer.
Management has been trying to turn the plant into a wood pellet manufacturer for the past two years. It says the plant will begin production while it awaits the permit.
NEWPRO is looking for about 35 employees spanning all positions, including maintenance, operation, and cleaning.
Workers will be hired as early as next week. The plant will be running by mid-March.
