Chandler Park could be shaping up shortly.
Council has finally agreed on a plan to restructure the local soccer field.
The field will be torn up and, and workers will use rolled-up turf instead of growing the field back.
“It’s a little bit more expensive per square metre but the benefit is that soccer players can get on the field faster after the work is done,” he says.
In total, the project will cost nearly about $347,000, about $11,000 under budget.
There will also be an irrigation system installed. The final design of the fields hasn’t been finished.
Bachrach shovels could be in the ground as early as this Spring.
