The town of Smithers has closed down Rosenthal Road (10th Avenue turns into Rosenthal Road North of 11th Avenue).
The high winds have blown a tree onto a live power line, causing what the Town is calling an “extremely dangerous situation.”
Town Staff asks that you stay out of the area while crews fix the situation.
