Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Nathan Cullen has just announced he will not be running for leadership of the federal NDP.
He told reporters in Ottawa there were was no single reason for his decision, but that his two young children and family played a large role. He added that his local constituents and party needs were also considered.
A facebook post from Cullen says the decision will allow him to focus his energy on “on helping improve our voting system along with working with the government to finally address our need to tackle climate change.”
